Heavy is mid-tempo, close to the rate of the heart. Convincing is proffered, never shouted. The trio of guitar, bass and drums is the swirling center of essential rock music.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Quagmire intuitively inherited and built upon the guitar-based wall of sound tradition perfected in the Midwest (inward buried in the outward). In density is found the unlimited flow of colors, endless wave of sound - an experience being explored only relatively recently, when songwriters began to indulge the opportunities of the recording studio.

From this core idea of sound comes songs that address time and timelessness, the inevitable and undeniable - realization of a sound matching intentionality of thought (outward buried in the inward).
